Solitude [POEM] by. Judi

Solitude~

I’m sure that the heart I left behind back then,
still lying hidden in the forest, but until when?

It’s exhausted, living in the infinite darkness
without strength to search people with kindness

As we live inside a cylinder
there are lies that still hinder

We’re shrouded in falsehoods
stood frozen in snowy woods

Unable to cry out
didn’t know how to live without

The days passed by and change
with our tears tearing that dark page

Overcoming that made-up scheme
we live strongly the present scene

Believing in destiny, painful feelings forgotten
our rusted hearts begin to beat again

Let’s find the rhythm of time
let’s fly once again in rhyme

Even not as a lover
but rising up together
